Presser Manager

Objective: To effectively oversee and manage pressers and also press customers’ garments to meet Best Cleaners and Laundry’s standards.

Duties:

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in dry cleaning and pressing
  • Press shirts and/or dry cleaning to meet the company’s quality standards
  • Inspect garments for any stains, tears and/or other damages
  • Ensuring the settings on the press are accurate as to maintain quality care in garment handling
  • Working alongside other team members to prepare clothes for pick-up/delivery by placing them on hangers or folding them as requested by the client
  • Keep work area clean
  • Hours: Part-time or full-time (30 hours or more


Presser

Objective: To effectively operate a press that uses various chemicals or steam to remove wrinkles and shape clients’ clothing

Duties:

  • Press shirts and/or dry cleaning to meet the company’s quality standards
  • Inspect garments for any stains, tears and/or other damages
  • Ensuring the settings on the press are accurate as to maintain quality care in garment handling
  • Working alongside other team members to prepare clothes for pick-up/delivery by placing them on hangers or folding them as requested by the client
  • Keep work area clean
  • Assemble pressed garments when necessary
  • Hours: Part-time or full-time (30 hours or more)


Assembler/Bagger

Objective: To effectively assemble and bag customers’ garments to meet Best Cleaners and Laundry’s standards.

Duties:

  • Inspect garments after they have been pressed to ensure quality standards have been met
  • Send garments that do not meet standards back to pressers and communicate what needs to be fixed
  • Prep items that meet our quality standards for assembly
  • Bag and tag finished items to the assembly conveyor
  • Review and sort finished orders to the correct racks to be delivered back to customers
  • Hang and organize invoices
  • Replace buttons
  • Hours: Part-time or full-time (30 hours or more)

Front Desk Associate

Objective: To greet and assist customers in a positive and efficient manner. It is important to be attentive with customers during each interaction to ensure quality service! You will inspect, detail, and sort clothing and household items according to garment type and care label instruction.

Duties:

  • Welcome new customers and follow procedure for data collection
  • Greet and assist customers with pick up and drop off
  • Accurately enter and track articles by utilizing computer software
  • Accept and accurately process payments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space
  • Hours: Part-time or full-time (30 hours or more)
